Thank you for your prayers. They are most appreciated and I know that I would not be where I am had it not been for your petitioning our Lord.
Praises:
1. As I said in my most recent prayer letter, the Lord has provided ALL my financial needs thus far and we have not had to take out loans or anything. In May He provided a $4,000 scholarship via Moody and in early March God provided ALL the money I needed for all the tools I needed (those are just a few examples). God is in the business of blessing and I am happy to receive His goodness.
2. God has allowed me to lead a Bible study with a former co worker and her daughter. I have been blessed to see their growth and the hunger that they have to know God. He is working in their hearts and when He is done they will be a masterpiece - looking just like the Lord Jesus Christ!
Requests:
1. There are bills still to be paid that I know I don't have the finances for so I am trusting God that He will again provide as He has before! Very soon I plan to be writing a "praise" stating how exactly how He has provided.
2. I want to know God more. As I age I learn that the material things of this world do not satisfy. I was made for God and I am only satisfied when I am in communication with my Father, for He made me. Sometimes, I feel distant from Him and it is unsettling, I want to feel close all the time. Pray that I would not only feel that but I would know His closeness and know Him deep in my soul. There is no greater pursuit in life.
3. Please pray that God would continue to build the unity of our class. It is easy in a technical field to build pride in your accomplishments as compared to others - this is not good. Christ calls His church to unity and I desire that for my class.
Again, thank you for your prayers. I pray for you that He would bless you for taking the time to lift my praises and needs before His throne.
